Some more cards to share

Been having some computer problems lately, but now all fixed.

The first card is a made using DCWV paper and the second is a quick birthday card I made from my scraps.

Beautiful Baby

Here is a a card I made using my favourite Melissa Frances products and Making Memories. I used some bling for the centre of the flower.

And here is my card from For Keeps #68. The cupcake is actually a candle.

J'adore was featured in the Artist and the Stamp article, last month. Second and third are from this month's issue.

I know we just had Christmas, but I guess Easter is early this year, and I made this card purely from bits in my stash!

Also one lucky last one to share! As soon as I saw that candle, I really wanted to use it on a birthday card! LOL!

Don't forget that Crop for Kids is nearly here, so if you don't want to miss out, pop over to the website and buy a ticket.

All of a sudden my little boy became a big kid, and headed off to school for his first day as a Prep... I held back the tears until DH and I got back home and read the little poem his teacher gave us.

The First Day

I gave you a nod and smile

As you entered my room today.

For I know your child must stay.

You've been with him for five years now

And have been a loving guide,

But now, alas, the time has come

To leave him at my side.

Just know that as you drive away

And tears down your cheeks may flow

I'll care for him as I would my own

And help him learn and grow.

So please put your mind at ease

And cry those tears no more

For I will care for him and take him in

When you leave him at my door.

Christmas cards

Over at Melissa Phillip's blog, she set a Christmas card challenge with the following:

Create a HOLIDAY card using the following:
1. Chipboard
2. Rubon
3. Buttons
4. Glitter
5. Ribbon
6. And, polka-dots of course!

I started making Christmas cards the other day, and realised that my second one fitted the challenge too
